Why was the dragonborn captured
With the power of the Starfrost , the Hero helped slay the traitor's forces and finally emerged victorious with the defeat of the Gehenoth Thriceborn.
The Soul of Conflict ' s destiny began when their home village of Azra's Crossing was attacked by bandits during the War of the Bend'r-mahk. The hero becomes entrenched in the war, and learns of an evil incarnation being created with shadow magic and the conflict caused by the ongoing war. The Soul of Conflict gathered the seven Star Teeth and destroyed the monster. Released by chance from prison in the Imperial City , this hero's tale began as a courier for Uriel Septim VII and ended in the salvation of all Tamriel from the forces of Mehrunes Dagon.
This hero even visited Sheogorath 's realm of insanity to battle the Daedric Prince Jyggalag , ending an eons-long cycle of order and chaos, becoming the new Sheogorath, Prince of Madness. Unexpectedly, Alduin attacked the settlement, which allowed the Dragonborn to escape. As destiny unfolded, this hero turned out to be the fabled Last Dragonborn from a prophecy inscribed into Alduin's Wall.
The Dragonborn also recovered lost Elder Scrolls related to a vampire plot to blot out the sun, and journeyed to Solstheim to stop the return of Miraak , the First Dragonborn. The Vestige , known by a plethora of other names, was a Soul-Shriven hero of prophecy.
As a mortal, they were sacrificed to Molag Bal by Mannimarco as part of a dark ritual in 2E With the aid of former emperor Varen Aquilarios , the Vestige escaped imprisonment in Coldharbour and reformed the Five Companions , as foretold by the Elder Scrolls in the omen "The soulless one will become the brightest of five stars, and they shall guide us to the coming dawn.
After participating in the Three Banners War for one of the three alliances throughout its territory and Cyrodiil , the Vestige joined an invasion of Coldharbour by the Fighters and Mages Guilds.
The Vestige became instrumental to that effort, restoring Meridia 's Hollow City in Coldharbour as a beachhead for the invasion. Meridia then sent the Vestige to explore events as if they had been part of the other alliances of Tamriel. The Vestige then explored the aftermath of the Planemeld in Craglorn , facing the Celestials corrupted by the Serpent. The Vestige then became involved in a Daedric war involving the Daedric Triad of the Princes Clavicus Vile , Mephala , and Nocturnal when they foiled the Triad's plot to sap Vivec of his power, before preventing their takeover of the Clockwork City.
The Vestige then traveled to Summerset and became a member of the Psijic Order. Nocturnal, however betrayed the Triad, and was promptly defeated by the Psijics, Vestige, and champions of Meridia and the betrayed princes. The Vestige later reunited with Abnur Tharn, inadvertently aiding in his sister 's plot to have him release dragons across Tamriel. Abnur and the Vestige and prevented Euraxia's dragon allies from siphoning Jode's Core and reclaimed the kingdom of Rimmen from Euraxia for its true heir, Khamira.
Assuming you were at the border when caught in "that" ambush, what were the Stormcloaks doing there? Well that explains everything. I knew that the LDB came from Cyrodiil. But im not really sure about that "you were caught in the imperial ambush". Explore Wikis Community Central. Register Don't have an account? Elder Scrolls Explore. Elder Scrolls Online. So, let's begin. So, here's where the first bit of the theory comes in already. But how does the Dragonborn come into play here? To cut the post down to a bit of a simpler read: -The Stormcloaks were captured at Darkwater Crossing on the 15th of Last Seed -They were meant to be brought to Cyrodiil, but due to Pale Pass being closed couldn 't go there -They instead turned around and decided to stay the night of the 16th of Last Seed in Fort Neugrad.
If either, please tell me why, discuss! Damn you Stormcloaks, Skyrim was fine until you come along. Empire was nice and lazy. Hadvar mentions everything needed to know in his dialog options after esvaping Helgen. Done and done. That's my opinion. Nice breakdown on your theory. The Stormcloaks were taken at or on there way to dark water crossing, right?
And who hit you so hard it took two days to wake up? Still angry about that. Any of you TES peeps able to help me out here?
Incredible research Thanks for the excellent read A bit of suggestion Try to archive the post so later players can read it. Since you have the freedom to choose who you want to be its possible you suffer amnesia and completely forgot who you were and what you did before, you're in a blank state and can make the choice to right the wrongs of the world and be a good guy or you can imeadiatly become an assassin or join the theives guild both of wich would bring suffering and pain to the people of skyrim.
Still the possible wrong place, wrong time. Who knows, maybe the dragonborn was a new adventure. Just starting the travel, and somehow got very unlucky. They have skills, since they already have maybe travelled for a week or so. But beyond that, they may of just camped out in the wrong area- could even of been possible, they were taking a dip in a body of water, and unlucky them, had to run for dear life with no weapon in hand, thanks to a bear or wolf which chased them.
Without knowing where they were headed, the dragon born gets caught on the run, no clothes. Can't have that tho, so the imperials tossed on the clothes we started out with. Win a girls heart by fluffy stuff, food, and games.
We can be that simple. User Info: s0m3kat. Madagascar, definitely Madagascar PSN - somekat. It never made much sense to me that the Dovahkiin- after being captured supposedly attempting an illegal border crossing- and Ulfik Stormcloak- apparently captured by ambush at Darkwater Crossing- are both taken to Helgren.
It seems an odd choice, given that Darkwater Crossing is nowhere near any of the borders- and is, indeed, on the far side of the largest mountain in Skyrim from Helgren. What's more, the Dovahkiin being in the same wagon with Ralof and Ulfrik at the start of the game indicates they are coming from the same location- which contradicts the general idea as set forth in the story.
Further muddying the situation is the fact that the wagon, if you follow back the trail, would have to have taken Ulfrik at Darkwater Crossing, then LEFT Skyrim in the southeast to loop through northern Cyrodil, before coming back into southwestern Skyrim.
While there may be some valid military and political reasons for not wanting to drag a chained Ulfrik across half of Skyrim, it seems like an even worse idea to perform multiple border crossings with him in tow- borders are always heavily watched, and not just by the military responsible for manning them.
Border crossings almost always have towns near them Just because you don't see those towns in Skyrim doesn't mean they aren't there; it's more likely that they were left to be on the Cyrodil side of the border and not represented in the game purely due to the limitations of the game. Personally, I think Bethesda screwed up. They could have avoided a lot of vagueness and questions by simply making the Dovahkiin a worker in the mines of Darkwater Crossing, arrested in the sweep that caught Ulfrik and being "tried" and executed simply to eliminate any witnesses that might damage the reputation of the Empire.
Certainly it might reduce the likelihood of the the player choosing to side with the Empire instead of the Stormcloaks But really, would it do so much more than almost being beheaded for no significant reason already does?
User Info: Lord Heimdall. It's obvious, they went the long way around just to capture Lokir.
