After downloading the exe file, double click it, select the desired language and location to install and accept the license terms. On completion, click Finish. Connect the phone to the computer, by inserting the USB data cable into the phone and then into an available port on the computer. Select Samsung Kies at the phone prompt. The PC should recognize several devices and begin installation. This is normal and may take a few minutes. Unplug the data cable when completed. Before you get started, make sure that you carry out the customary but still essential step of backing up all the data in your Samsung Vibrant.

Back up everything including what you have on the SD card. This back up will prove to be handy in the event of any unexpected losses! After completing the backup, open the installed Kies Mini app on your computer. A few minuted after connecting it, Kies Mini should indicate the availability of a new software update! That is it.
